In the past four years I’ve had some truly incredible experiences.  I’ve been lucky enough to attend a photography tour in Italy, I’ve been published in LifeStyler magazine (online and in print), and I’ve had an image accepted into an Abstract Expressionism exhibition at the prestigious PhotoHaus Gallery in Vancouver.  In March, 2015, I also had the great pleasure of shooting outdoor images for a personal trainers website.  Finding suitable locations, choosing angles, and navigating lighting in order to fulfill the goals of my client all made for a challenge that I really enjoyed.

I have also thoroughly enjoyed volunteering my time and resources for Wounded Warriors Run, BC, and Wounded Warriors Canada.  This non-profit organization helps Canadian Forces members who have been wounded or injured in their service to Canada.  My images of their events have been used in presentations, slideshows, flyers, newspapers, websites, the Legion Magazine (a national publication), and Public Service announcements.  It is a privilege and an honor to be affiliated with this outstanding group of people.

Most importantly, I really, truly, love photography.  From the time I was a young girl I've been passionate about it.  Looking through the lens allows me the experience of seeing things differently.  My perspective on my surroundings shifts and I look at light, shadows, angles, textures, and even people’s expressions in a new way.  The thrill of a great image lights me up and leaves me craving further opportunity to capture time.

It's been an exciting few years!  If you would like more details on any of my experiences I welcome you to contact me as I would be more than happy to elaborate.  I look forward to the opportunities ahead and am ready to capture what comes my way!
